In 2016, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 39. I had to go through months of Chemo, three Surgeries, a double Mastectomy and Reconstruction.
It was a few weeks after my last chemo treatment that I was asked to go hiking. Little did I know, it was up a huge mountain, when at the top, you are quite literally in the clouds. I cried for two reasons that day: one, I can’t believe I climbed that mountain pretty much right after a chemo session, and two, it was then that I discovered I was playing small in this world.
I realized I had to let my light shine so other women could let their own light shine. My purpose to teach other women how to be strong and confident through fitness was born. I’ve gone back to that mountain every year since. The mountain graphic is a painting I had on my fitness studio wall, and is a graphic of the real mountain I climbed. A reminder of how strong and resilient we all can be.
See, throughout my professional Personal Training Career, I trained anyone and everyone, but it was after climbing that mountain, I knew I had to train women, specifically. I ended up opening a fitness studio 2-years later, where I taught Aerial Yoga, Bungee Fitness, and Women on Weights.
These cards are a combination of favourite moves, challenges, and formats that my clients loved throughout the years. My wish for you, is to have fun with movement. That’s what it’s all about!

Who are we?
Did you know that the model on the exercise cards is my daughter? Never wanting to lose the human element in my creation, Abigail was more than happy to help out with this project! We had a lot of fun picking out our favorite exercises for you. You will notice some standard moves are missing–not that we weren’t fans of them, we just liked others better–and some new moves you may not have done before!
